Version 2.16 of The HiVE introduces two features we know people have been waiting for: schedule publishing and an email unsubscribe page.

Schedule publishing

One thing we’ve heard continually from customers (and experienced ourselves) is that it’d be great to have a feature that allows you to schedule your draft pages and content to publish at pre-determined times. The new schedule publishing feature allows you to do just that and can be used to publish new projects, open or close engagement activities, and publish new content automatically.

This feature is particularly useful for those who need to send multiple drafts or new versions live at the same time or publish changes outside of business hours. It allows you to set everything up, schedule in the exact minute you want to publish, and then relax and get on with your day.

Unsubscribe page

We’re working on a range of new features to help you manage complex email communications with your users. We’ve made it easier for your members to manage their email subscriptions without having to login to their user profiles. This will allow them to more easily choose which type of emails they want to receive from you.

Users wishing to unsubscribe from your emails can now follow an unsubscribe link located at the bottom of each email which will take them to a new email settings page. On this page they can see which subscriptions they currently are signed up to and easily select which ones they want to opt out of.

These updates will be applied to all HiVE sites - part of our regular schedule of upgrading and improving to ensure you always have the very latest and best technology at your fingertips.
